What role does conversational artificial intelligence play as a conversation partner in different areas of life and for different generations? Juliane Jarke explores this question in an article in the anniversary issue of “Krone bunt,” which was published on August 30, 2026.
In it, Juliane Jarke highlights how naturally communicative AI is now used in many areas of everyday life—whether in healthcare, in private life, or in the workplace. AI can serve as a helper, a support, and, increasingly, as a conversation partner.
Building a relationship between humans and AI plays a central role in this. Through continuous interaction, the technology is intended to better understand the needs and behaviors of its users and evolve accordingly.
At the same time, the use of artificial intelligence and social media is becoming an increasingly controversial topic, particularly among younger generations. While AI offers a wide range of possibilities, its use and access are simultaneously being more strictly restricted or even banned in some areas.
