Living Handbook on Communicative AI
The Living Handbook on Communicative AI brings together social-science research on how societal communication changes when AI systems themselves become participants in it. Its chapters appear online on a rolling basis and are updated regularly – keeping the handbook current and open to new topics. It is published with Springer VS and edited by Andreas Hepp, Wiebke Loosen, Juliane Jarke, Christian Katzenbach, and Michaela Pfadenhauer.

ComAI Working Papers
In its working paper series, the Research Unit publishes work in progress as well as conceptual and methodological contributions from its ongoing research. The series opens with the introduction to the Living Handbook (Working Paper No. 1); further papers follow on a rolling basis.
