Juliane Jarke at Summer School panel on AI and the future of healthcare
ComAI member (P8) Juliane Jarke took part in a summer school “AI and the future of healthcare” from 7th to 10th July 2026 in Trieste. The summer school was organised jointly by the national Science and Technology Associations: STS Italia and STS Austria. It included participants (PhD and PostDoc-level) from across Europe, Brazil, US and Japan.
Juliane participated in a roundtable with Attila Bruni (University of Trento), Dorthe Brogård Kristensen (University of Southern Denmark) and Francesco Miele (University of Trieste) discussing how AI-driven systems enter and reconfigure spaces of healthcare. She drew on research of project P8 and how communicative AI features in these transformations, how we might research it and what future developments we might see.
