A new article by ZeMKI member Prof. Dr. Andreas Hepp has been published in taz – die tageszeitung. Titled “Expo in Osaka: Wooden Ring Instead of Crystal Ball”, the piece examines the range of future scenarios presented at Expo 2025 – from AI-driven life narratives to grassroots sustainability initiatives.

The central question: What kinds of futures do we really want to live in? And what do these visions reveal about today’s social discourse? Expo 2025 in Osaka showcases bold technological utopias and ethical dilemmas. Andreas Hepp critically explores these narratives in his latest contribution.
