Luisa Runge
Research associate P4 "Governance"
Luisa Runge is a researcher and PhD candidate at the “Platform Governance, Media, and Technology” Lab within the ComAI research group at the Center for Media, Communication, and Information Research (ZeMKI) since 2025.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies, she earned her M.A. in Digital Media and Society at the University of Bremen in 2023, specializing in the platform governance of social media. In her master’s thesis, she examined TikTok’s corporate communication and community guidelines concerning gender-based discrimination.
During and after completing her studies, she worked in media education projects, including at the M2C Institute for Applied Media Research, with a focus on democracy and digital media.
