Carolin Müller
Research associate P1 "Pioneer Communities"
Carolin Müller is a research associate at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) and the »Communicative AI« Research Unit since January 2025. She is part of the research project P1 »Pioneer Communities: Imagining ComAI and its possible futures«. Previously, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in »European Languages and Cultures« at the University of Groningen, followed by a Master’s degree in Religious Studies at the University of Bremen.
Her research focusses on societal and social transformation processes involving religion and (religious) actors, which are induced by media and technological developments. She completed her specialisation with her Master’s thesis, in which she examined negotiation processes within the German Roman Catholic Church in relation to artificial intelligence.
