Laura Spillner
Research associate P2 "Interfaces"
Laura Spillner is a doctoral researcher at the Digital Media Lab. As part of her doctoral thesis, she is researching the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence. She is particularly interested in the interaction with and the development of explainable AI, as well as interaction in natural language. So far, she has worked in the European Project “MUHAI”, where she researched human-centered AI for the analysis of social inequality and political narratives on social media.
Laura Spillner studied Media Studies and Digital Media and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Bremen, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Cognition and Robotics. In her master’s thesis, she investigated how conversational agents can adapt their language to the language of their users.
